What is the perfect first date movie?

I overanalyze things too much...how I can go from being totally blaze about something, and now be completely worked into a frenzy I have no idea. I hate it when I'm completely neurotic.

hmm. porno? Just kidding. Something intellectually stimulating that you can talk about afterwards. Or something funny, during which you can determine the compatibility of your senses of humor (don't underestimate the importance of this!)

I went for a political thriller...kind of intellectually stimulating I guess...but also something that I can bury my face in his chest at all the right moments. After all this is just a summer fling, right??
Hmmmm...I don't know why I'm feeling the urge to completely dumb myself down all of a sudden. I'm writing this now because in a month when it all goes sour I want to be able to look back at this and say...you knew it was going to happen back then...and this is the reason why.

SCI FI! all the wayee! this way 1) you are excited and titillated, neurally exercised and fanned curious 2) get to look mega cool 3) it contains all other elements of other movies (horror, humour, politics, allegory, romance...) AND 4) when and if in a month, you taste it all asour, at least there's bits you'll still enjoy: having watched a wicked movie (how's that for back to the future? heheheh)
Try A Scanner Darkly. It has it all the above and more...
